We came up with a new way to teach the kids this year. In the past we’d split up the kids into groups according to their grades and curriculums. This year we have 3 teachers and one substitute. And we have diveded the groups into classe; math, science & language arts, geography & social studies. We have from 2 to 3 kids in each class and they get to take turns going to their different classes and spend an hour or so with a different person each morning.
It makes it more lively for them, there’s less complaints about getting bored, they get a variety of school settings moving from room to room and they don’t get tired of their teachers. You’re also able to focus on one or two subjects and thus put more time and effort into your curriculum.
