“The Arts” contest will be held from October 15th – May 1st 2007 here on the www.educationrevolutions.com website.

Eligible contestants are JETTS and Teens in the NA region and any JT’s from outside the region who are going to Wordstock.

Categories will be:
-Poetry (anything from a story poem, humorous, etc)
-Short (Spirit) story (grammar, spelling & punctuation will all be taken into consideration when judged) (Please read up on the subject: Spirit Stories!-Heavenly Ghostwriting! #3119 GN0733 Spirit Stories! Part 2 #3129 GN0737)
-Essay (Topic: Current Events) (Minimum of 500 words please)
-Graphic design (computer art)
-Painting (Oil paints, Acrylic, Water color, Poster paints)
-Pencil (Colored or black)
-Ink
-Short Film or Computer animation (Lego animation, clay animation)
-Power points
-Photography

You can submit once per category into as many categories as you would like. For example one painting, one pencil and one graphic design, but not an oil painting and water color under the painting category…just one painting total. The same goes for all of the categories.
We are allowing one re-entry per person. This means that i.e. if you have sent us a poem, a painting and a power point and you realize that you would like to change one of your entries you can do so once during the competition, and send us a new poem in exchange of the one you have already sent us for example.

For all entries you must include:
-Date you finished you work
-Name and age
-Current school grade
-State (Or Country)/City/Home number
-E-mail address

Please don’t wait until the very end to send us your entries. We would like to post all entries on our website so that you can see what everyone else has been contributing. If you would like to submit under lots of different categories then you should begin as soon as possible to give yourself time and heighten your chances of winning.
We will nominate winners and then a panel of judges will agree on the first prize winners of each category. Prizes will be awarded to the winners at Wordstock IV Graduation and Prom Ceremony.

We know just how talented all of you are, and we hope that this competition will be a fun way for you to express yourselves artistically! Don’t forget to pray and get the Lord’s and your spirit helper’s aid!
