New Elementary Science Curriculum

By Joy

I found out about a science curriculum from a home schooling parent
living near us. We are going to use it for our son this year.

The book called is called, “God’s Design for the Physical World” by
Debbie and Richard Lawrence. There are 3 parts to it: Inventions
and Technology, Heat and Energy, Machines and Motion.
The tests are included with the answers in the appendix so you
don’t need a teacher’s guide or answer keys. I found the best price
at America’s Future, which I saw on the HSLDA curriculum market.

The lessons are simple, easy to follow, and teach the basics. There
is a variety as well.

The back cover says:
“A complete elementary science curriculum for Grades 1-8,
the God’s Design science series: has a strong biblical worldview, requires
minimal teacher preparation, teaches critical thinking skills, includes fun,
hands-on activities with every lesson, is written by seasoned home-schoolers,
is multi-level (easy to use with multiple children and different ages), is
flexible and works with all learning styles.”
