On May 14th at 5 in the evening, I walked into a dining hall. It wasn’t just any dining hall, it was the dining hall located at the WordStock IV grounds. It didn’t look like the usual dining hall that we had all become accustomed to with long lines of empty tables and chairs. No, it was different. The tables were set with dishes, pink and black napkins were placed in cups, champagne glasses, salad, bread, and lasagna placed on the tables. There were pink and black balloon arches around the room, cameras, and most outstandingly of all everyone was dressed in gowns, dresses, suits, and tuxedos. This was the Arts Awards Ceremony.
To begin the evening Niki and Band performed some soft background music. Some people danced, others had their picture taken at one of the 3 photo options that were setup for the event.

The seating was arranged by ages, with girls on one side and boys on the other, etc.

During dinner, Claire and Mike began the ceremony by reading an introductory message and explaining exactly what the night was going to behold.

After a dessert of cake and a toast of sparkling cider, the Winners were announced by teams of two and three pre-chosen individuals.

The Winners are ‘Drum roll’¦cymbal.’
